Roberto's Taco Shop is my go-to spot for fresh, authentic Mexican food! The location in Del Mar is perfect — steps from the beach — and the vibe is casual and laid-back. Their carne asada burrito is always spot on, and the fish tacos are some of the best I’ve had. Great portions, reasonable prices, and fast service. Perfect place to grab a bite after a day in the sun!

This place has solid food. Would return! Also, the view over the natural reserve is unbeatable and just adds to the overall atmosphere.

Solid Mexican food in the border right by the beach. Thought the pork in the taco was a bit dry but solid flavor and the salsa was great - they also have quite a few options to choose from. Note that while the tacos are quite pricey, they’re also massive so 2 tacos are enough for a meal. There’s definitely a bit of a line around lunchtime but service is pretty quick.

Always eat here when i am in San Diego. Great outside eating area and super friendly people. The salsa is great. The habanero salsa will burn your face off, but is addicting and delicious. Cool views of the backside of Torrey pines.
