“ Okay this isn't the Ritz, it's a small taco shop with a great view, nice location and terrible parking. It's titans miss on the service, sometimes super friendly, sometimes not. The food is good. Not bad, not great. We always get the shredded chicken tacos and the carnitas burrito. Good food, decent prices. Could they be better? Sure, but for the most part, you can't go wrong. ”
“ I agree with most reviews that this isn't the greatest Mexican food of all time, but it's good enough if you want your burrito warm on the beach. This time I was disappointed because I got a carne asada burrito and didn't find the small amount of guacamole until the very last few bites. Even with that, we will continue to order our burritos by phoning in, picking up our burritos and horchatas for take out and enjoying them at the beautiful beach of Torrey Pines. ”
“ Haven't been to this location since the late 1980s when I was in college. Roberto's still does not disappoint. The Carne Asada burrito and the rolled tacos taste just like I remember and that red hot sauce still does stuff to my stomach like it did back in the day. Plenty of outdoor seating and a friendly staff and quick service make this place impossible to give up, even after all these years. Now... OPEN IN LA! ”
“ Roberto's is the absolute best place to get a California Burrito. You've tried the rest, now try the best! This quick stop shop has gorgeous views of Torrey Pines with a small outdoor dining patio. Even if the line is long, don't worry, they move really fast! While their burrito is king, feel free to check out the rest of their menu, you won't be disappointed! ”
“ Good food, unbeatable views and location. This location of Roberto's is perfect for outdoor seating overlooking Torrey Pines Beach and the estuary adjacent to it. The vibe of this shop is quite casual. You order at the counter and seat yourself outside. The patio is shared with a pizza shop as well as a coffee shop, Bird Rock, which I love! There's always a bunch of lively conversations going on and cute dogs lounging. I got the breakfast burrito with shredded chicken. It was packed with protein but seemed to be lacking a bit of seasoning, so I drenched it in salsa. It was piping hot upon being served, so I appreciated the freshness. The asada fries that someone else in my group got were the clear winner - they were crispy and generously drenched in sauce and meat. ”
